Phil & Tiphani Todora Fund
It’s with heavy hearts, filled with gratitude for God’s goodness, that we wanted to let you know that Tiphani Todora passed away on January 30 at Calcutta House in Lafayette. She was surrounded by her mother, daughter, and beloved husband Philip. She has fought the good fight and finished her race. Tiphani battled to the end with grace and will be laid to rest at St. Martin de Tours Cemetery.
Both her and Philip were so grateful for the financial support of so many that made it possible for them to stay together to the end.
We ask that you pray for Philip as he has lost the love of his life and is working through his grief. His faith is strong and he is surrounded by a group of brothers that are helping him navigate this time.
Philip has made the decision to take steps towards a new chapter in his life. Since his early twenties, Philip has been involved in ministries: owning halfway houses for women, leading spiritual groups, and AA groups. Father Mike Champange has offered Philip to join The Community of Jesus Crucified in St. Martinville. There, with the support of the brothers and nuns, he will focus on his own health and look to find ways to use his gifts for the community.
Our fund will remain open until the end of March. With closing the shoe shop and pet grooming, Phil will be living off of a very small monthly income. Any donations given will help to give Phil a safety net for expenses he has for this transition and in the coming months.
Once again, thank you for the support and helping us love our neighbors during their time of need.
