She spends her time outside of HFO keeping herself busy with work and her family but we so appreciate that she has made such a big space in her heart for HFO.

HFO’s creative way to provide consistent staffing while impacting High School students is called “Agents of Hope.” Each year, high school students are hired as paid interns. Four days a week, the Agents tutor and mentor younger students, while also week participating in college and life skills preparation. We couldn’t do what we do without these dedicated young people!
This HFO Family Friday: Meet our Board Member Cecette Bassett! She has served on the HFO since it’s inception as one of HFO’s first tutoring volunteers and a willing host for all manner of HFO parties. Ms. Cecette and her family always have open arms and open doors for HFO. For that, and so much more, we are thankful for Ms. Cecette! #lovechangeseverything
